What is jail or being locked up like?

I heard jail is pretty bad. I know three kids who went to jail and 2 of them seemed way too soft to be there. They were two white kids who are not even big with tattoos or anything. I'm not talking about juvenile detention I mean jail with 25-30 year old guys. Do the guys really turn gay and the don't drop the soap rumor true? Are thieves,drug dealers and murderers in the same jail. Did you know any1 who went to jail and when they got out they were really huge and tough or something? I bet If i was in a room all day I would be doing push ups and getting built. Do some guys really get shanked and what do they eat and is it 3 meals a day? What are the hours?
