Little s vs beetle mech hackamore please help?

I would recommend the little s. I barrel race, and from experience, the longer the shank, the easier it is to get him to do what you want. This hackamore might actually be perfect, because the shank is not too long, but it will still provide the correct pressure for tight, fast turns. Hope this helps(:
